Welcome Warriors!!!
I foresee another amazing year as part of the Warrior family! I am thrilled to be at Waccamaw High in my role as principal after serving as an assistant principal here at the high school in the past. I enjoyed my years as an English teacher at Georgetown High and Georgetown Middle. I learned a great deal during my five years as the assistant principal as a yellow jacket at Andrews High. I have felt welcomed by my Warrior family since joining the administrative team in 2016 and feel this is a perfect place for me to continue my journey in the field of education.
I am originally from the small town of Connersville, Indiana. I received my bachelor of arts degeree in English education from the University of Indianapolis and my master's degree in educational leadership from the University of Phoenix.
I live in Pawleys Island with my wife, Grace. She is an elementary special education teacher in Georgetown. We are blessed with four young children, Lucy, Josie, Zane, and Griffey. You will often see my family taking in a warrior event such as a game or a concert. In my few minutes of free time, I am an avid sports fan (Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Hoosiers, Cincinnati Reds, and Chicago Blackhawks), enjoy going to the beach, playing sports, and reading a new book.
I look forward to the opportunity to build stronger relationships with all of the staff, parents, and students in the Waccamaw family during this school year. If I can assist you in any way, don't hesitate to contact me.
Go Warriors!!!
